Effective February 1, 2007, any person wishing to participate in the chat must have posted in the forum at least one meaningful post (example: introduction post).  As of late, we have had many trolls, people selling internet drugs, hokum or porn, and people who are there for less than honorable reasons.  This will not be tolerated and is quite disruptive to the regular chat members.

If the moderators feel you are there for less than honorable reasons during a chat, you will be removed from the chat.  No questions asked.

If you have any questions about this new policy, please feel free to contact one of the moderators.

Thank you.

Effective August 1, 2008, any person wishing to participate in the chat must actively participate in the chat.  Inactivity of more than 30 minutes will result in the chat moderator to remove you from chat.  The chat room is a place for people to share experiences and talk, not to sit and observe the participants that are there.  In short, no lurking.

The rules of the forum will now be strongly enforced in the chat.  Violations of the rules of the forum in the chat will result of removing you from the chat.

We reserve the right to remove any user from our chat room. When users are removed, it’s usually because they violate one or more of the rules. Repeated violation of these rules may result in the suspension of your posting & chat privileges or permanent banning from the forum & chat.  Decisions of moderators and administrators are final.

Chats will now be from 8:00PM ET to 11:00PM ET.
